Lifeline Africa Foundation (LAF) is a non- governmental organization based in Ireland. LAF was incorporated in February 2006. The Foundation seeks to provide medical support, humanitarian assistance, support children’s educational needs through development education to less privileged children and children orphaned by HIV/AIDS as well as raise public awareness on the plight of less privileged children in Africa.
The identity for the Lifeline Africa foundation is designed to be impactful on first sight and meaningful on repeated exposure. The bold handprint signifies the noble yet brave act of reaching out to those less fortunate, while also carrying the uplifting subtext of children at play. The outline of the African peninsula is contained within the grasp of the hand; the fact that this might not be perceived at first glance gives the brand subtlety and intelligence.
